One of my favorite parts of my job working at the Basie Center, is developing and executing the branding for Galas. For this Gala we wanted to play into it being on the first day of summer as well as match the vibe of our performer, Sheryl Crow. That inspired the idea of using pressed flowers all throughout the branding, with yellows and pink backgrounds. For these events, I am responsible for creating the webpage, event graphics, badges, event signage for both print and digital, and window clings.

My favorite part of these events are also being able to be creative with floor plans and decor. For this gala, I helped cordinate centerpeices, which where lanterns with pressed flowers as well as potted plants as well as create the flower arch in a truss for guests to walk under as they entered the space.
