2025 Summer Gala

Count Basie Center for the Arts

One of my favorite parts of my job at the Count Basie Center for the Arts is developing and executing branding for galas. For this particular gala, we wanted to lean into the fact that it was taking place on the first day of summer while also matching the vibe of our performer, Sheryl Crow. This inspired the use of pressed flowers throughout the branding, paired with bold summer colors.

For these events, I am responsible for creating the webpage, event graphics, badges, signage for both print and digital, and window clings.

Another favorite part of these events is getting to be creative with floor plans and décor. For this gala, I also helped coordinate the centerpieces, including DIY lanterns with pressed flowers, potted plants, and a flower arch for guests to walk under as they entered the venue.
